Enterprise Search Plugin

Last verified: 13 February 2026 | Applies to: Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise

The Enterprise Search plugin lets Claude search across your connected tools simultaneously — email, Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Asana, and anything else linked via MCP connectors. Instead of opening five apps to find one piece of information, ask Claude once and it searches everywhere.

No dedicated slash commands — the Enterprise Search plugin enhances Claude’s ability to find information across connected tools when you ask questions in Cowork.

The Enterprise Search plugin’s skills cover:

  • Cross-tool querying — searches multiple connected services in a single request
  • Result synthesis — aggregates findings from different sources into a coherent answer
  • Context linking — connects related information across tools (e.g., a Slack conversation linked to an Asana task linked to a Google Doc)
  • Temporal filtering — finds information from specific time periods across all sources

Find anything:

Find everything related to the Acme Corp deal — check email, Slack, Asana, and Google Drive.

Claude searches all connected tools and compiles results: relevant emails, Slack conversations, tasks, and documents.

Answer a question:

What was the final pricing we agreed on for the Smith account? Check our email threads and Slack messages from last month.

Instead of searching through email and Slack separately, Claude finds the answer across both.

Research context:

I have a meeting with [client] tomorrow. Find any recent communications, open tasks, and shared documents related to them across all our tools.

Audit trail:

Show me all decisions made about the website redesign project in the last 30 days — check Slack, email, and Notion.

Who it’s best for: Operators working across many tools who frequently need to find information that spans email, chat, docs, and project management. Most valuable in teams where communication is spread across multiple platforms.
